Winter Wedding Weekend

Say that three times fast.

This weekend Neil's good friend Nick got married here in Chicago and it was beautiful!! Friday night they had the rehearsal dinner at the Berghoff and everything was lovely! Neil and the other groomsmen were all a little out of it because of the bachelor party the night before.

Saturday Neil got up and headed out pretty early while I ran errands and took Clark to the park.

I then jumped on a shuttle and headed to the University of Chicago where the wedding ceremony and reception were held. The chapel was gorgeous! Becky's dad married her and Nick which is so special and amazing to see.

After the ceremony we headed over to the reception where there was cider and hot chocolate waiting for all the guests.

                                                   Tasted like biting into a piece of warm apple pie. Amazing! 

The reception was beautiful and the venue was amazing! Congratulations to Nick and Becky! After 3 years of long distance they deserve some time together here in Chicago before starting their new adventure in Seattle this Spring!

Sunday we took Clark to the park for awhile to let him run loose before the arctic tundra moved into Chicago. He had a blast (so did Neil)!

 
  We came home and didn't leave for the rest of the day.

 Clark was so tired from playing all day that he made a little nest for himself in between all the pillows and slept there all night.
