Christmas and New Years

On December 23rd Meg, Neil and I met at O'Hare and headed to Doylestown for Christmas! We arrived late and pretty much went right to bed when we got home. Christmas Eve we continued the tradition of  taking our picture with Santa. This is our 13th year of doing it and each year has a fun theme. This year, Santa proposed to me!
                                                                                       Santa's such a ham.
We did our traditional Christmas Eve routine where we go to mass then come home to wide array of apps! It started snowing right as we were leaving church, too! It was beautiful!
Neil and I in front of the tree. Don't mind the drunk angel on the tree.
Christmas day was spent lounging and playing with new presents while the turkey cooked! Megan and I worked on a ginger bread house over the course of the day.
                                                                                               Work of art!
We also used my new favorite Christmas present: bow ties for wine glasses. It was a very fancy occasion, after all!
                                                                                                          Classy.
The day after Christmas we had planned on going to New York, but the weather was rainy and very ugly, so we stayed around Doylestown and went to see This is 40, which was HILARIOUS!

The next day we did some stuff around the house, then went to lunch in town and headed to the airport. It was a quick trip, but filled with fun! As always, my mom does an amazing job decorating the house and making everything look beautiful!

New Years Eve was SO MUCH FUN! Over the last few weeks we had been going back and forth on what we were going to do and no plans were set in stone until two nights before. We made dinner reservations at Three Aces in Little Italy for me, Neil, Megan, Kevin, Mary Kate, Kirk, and Bill. Before hand, Megan, Kevin and Bill came over for some drinks and apps.

                                                                                           Cheese spread.
                                                                                                    Veggies.

Dinner was fun and yummy! And, vacation Mary came to dinner! She was ordering the Veuve like she was back in Vegas!

                                                                     Group Shot.
Attempt at a New Years pic. What I wouldn't do to be photogenic!!

After dinner Meg, Kev, Neil and I came back to our place to dance and toast to the New Year. It was a super fun new years! Clark was so excited to celebrate he even pooped in the bathroom!
