So amazing.
We then decided to get a feel for Rome and just walk around. I felt like I was walking in a painting. Everything was so beautiful!! The colors, the architecture, everything was so unreal! We stopped in a park where I saw my favorite sign:
I'm assuming this sign translates to "No dancing, listening to music and high five-ing your friends in this park." Obviously, not a fan of this park for all of the above reasons.
As we were walking down the street we stumble upon the Colosseum. It is absolutely unreal in person!
We went on a tour the next day to see the inside and it's just an unbelievable structure
Since I'm already loosing track of what we did each day, I think I'll just give a run down of what we did overall:
Toured the Roman Forum and saw lots and lots of ruins
Ate more pizza
Saw the Pantheon
Had lots of wine at various Piazza's
Hung out with the pope (that's an attempt at a picture of him above)
Saw the Trevi Fountain, which was my favorite site in Rome!!
And did LOTS of Drunk Uncle Impressions
Rome was amazing and I can't wait to go back to explore the rest of Italy!!!
